7) Die 2 obverse with die erosion on portrait. Retired early – replaced by Die 3.

    One of the 1-Amero coins was struck in error on a thicker 31-gram copper blank.
8) Die 3 obverse with “JR” and “DC” initials on neck truncation above 0.
9) 52 were issued with a color-toned finish.

    One test strike was made with a reeded-edge and a sandblast matte finish.

10) One was struck by error in a smooth-edge collar.
11) Some light die erosion on portrait.
12) The first 30 struck have light die polishing lines on portrait.
13) One 30mm ½ Amero was overstruck with 25mm ¼ Amero dies.
14) 7 were broad-struck and/or multi-struck in error on 10.0-gram blanks.
    The rest were struck on 12.5-gram blanks.

    post-strike bead-blasted & burnished matte finish.
7) Three were struck in error on 31-gram copper blanks. The rest are 27 grams.
8) Revised obverse portrait with shorter feathers, relocated DC logo,
    and “D” below date.
9) All were minted with the reverse design of 2007.
10) 5 were struck from die pair 1. All matte finish pieces were struck as

    proof-like then given a post-strike bead-blasted & burnished (matte) finish.

11) 10 were struck from die pair 1 (the last four of those show shattered dies).
