Flowing Hair Dollars were originally minted in 1794 and 1795. None were ever minted with “1792” or “1793” dates.
NOTE: These are NOT endorsed by the US Treasury. Defacing of US coins is legal so long as the defacement isn't for fraudulent purposes.

Over-struck in a smooth
collar. The original reeded edge from the Silver Eagle Production occurred in this order: (9) produced before the dies were polished (brilliant-satin). (18) struck in collar, then lightly broad-struck by polished dies (proof-like). (171) struck in collar by polished dies (156 proof-like, 5 antiqued). |
